    1) He is not fixing the problems I have mentioned in my first post. Those problems I mentioned are not fixable. They were past-reflections; It is too little too late. Even Airo admits that they're not viable fixes anymore, but if they'd known sooner, they would be. That's what a Reflection is. 2) You're being irrationally biased to Simplemind. He hasn't been here long enough to implement any fixes worth anything. No disrespect to him, it's just not viable in such a time frame. You glorify him by putting him as a hero; saying the server was "Soo" bad before he turned up. It was bad, still is bad. - Alot of people, more than just one, put effort into developing and making OSS great again . It got here as a result of that. Unless you do a 360 Turn, it will keep going in that direction. Simplemind will just push it in the same direction; just slower. He holds no power to remove the 9 Sins that still keep OSS on the wrong path. 3) I only learnt this recently. My point stands, small problems lead to big ones. No problem (bug) can be ignored or it will be Exploited. 4) You could just hide behind The lowest tier of risk protection to prevent that from happening if you were being ragged in singles... Then they can't attack you unless Said raggers have risk. At which point, they'd bypass the "player has recently died" protection anyway. Furthermore, what single teams are you referring too? and what raggers are you referring too? This server isn't as hot as it use to be, and ragging is on a decline; therefore having restrictions that focus on such people is redundant. 5) For all intents and purposes, I'm mostly talking about the "sins" this server has committed. Not really what bugs it has now, as I said, I don't care about "now" anymore. 6) What problems are you referring too? Simplemind and Airo have no intention of re-working PvP mechanics among other Sins that have drove players away. The bugs I mentioned in my previous post mean nothing now. Even if you fixed all of them, it would not change OSS for the better. I'm sorry, it just wouldn't. 7) Impact, brother, as a final word to you - if we could fix every bug listed on this forum right now it would not make the playerbase grow or the economy flourish. There are deeper sins OSS has committed that have caused it to go this way. These sins are deep too, - I mean Really deep. I know people who have had their lives turned upside down by doxxing among other things that Started all from here. I'm not going to go into detail out of respect, but these Sins are more than just Bugs. it was the way OSS was ran and maintained. These "Sins" cannot be fixed, you can only learn from them. This server has come along way and has left a lasting impression on alot of people. Some for good, but some for much worse. They need to be learned and accepted. These sins are more than what I posted, there are some I don't even know. But they're there, and it's what caused it to go this way. It can only be learned from, not corrected. As above with Impact, brother I'm seldom referring or care about the bugs that plague you now. I wish you the very best to take care of them however. This topic, here and now, is referring to more than bugs but rather the very long-lasting sins that have ran throughout OSS leadership, these have caused it to become toxic in ways that are not as fixable with an update or two. Even if you could fix all your bugs now, it wouldn't fix the way OSS has been ran into troubled waters. I can be patient and wait til you fix all the bugs I and others mentioned. But you may call me "negative" but you can not disagree if I said those Bug fixes won't increase playerbase and it won't increase popularity and it won't increase security and it won't increase leadership. The only ways to fix that is possibly with a revival; or a complete server re-work with the right people and the right attitude. I hope you find those people with the right attitude to go forward to there from such low times I'd even offer my help to you, but there is nothing I could personally do that'd help you now. .P.S. This will be my final post here, as I say, I do wish you good luck on everything my dude. I know you'll do your best out there -- but if this doesn't work out, don't blame yourself. if you ask me, It wasn't fair you taking control of a sinking ship. But the leaks had sprung way before you came into leadership. Remember that dude. Take care.

    I'm going to be quitting within September. I won't reveal my main or alts. I'm quitting because moderators, developers and staff have consistently let everyone down. Everything from their Attendance to their Security and even their ability to listen to the community. This is part because trustworthy and respectable staff members left and were replaced with "panic-hired" new comers who don't have the time, skill or resources to undo the damage done already. Not enough people are admitting that the server is about to die very soon, instead masking it and thanking people for updates that are too little too late. The biggest sins this server has committed from my time of being here are 1) Blindly copying OSRS updates over to OSS without reflection of their potential outcomes 2) Focusing heavily on rag-prevention and generalized every non-risk person as a NSer causing restrictions that prevented smooth gameplay. 3) Hesitation to reprimand and punish Toxic players, clans and staff. 4) Implementing new items through IRL-Paid Store instead of Intended Minigames 5) Not advertising forums enough to new playerbase so their opinions could be heard. 6) Not Removing otherwise toxic gameplay mechanics that effected new people who weren't able to have their voices heard. 7) Focusing too much on Bug-prevention rather than server-recommendation. 8) Poor handling of Playerbase security and lack of positive advertisement. 9) Continuous hollow apologies that were not acted/reflected upon with any weight.     1) I know how much effort the single developer puts in; but it's besides the point and off-topic. 2) What system are you using to measure progress? I use new player influx and server stability, you're measuring by update frequency. (said updates are only there to fix errors caused by prior updates..) 3) New CC glitch has occured where any random person can be assigned CC owner and grant *FULL* kick powers. This means Open CCs are in trouble of having everyone kicked by an unauthorized user. - This is a big problem for Open war Ccs, which, you seem to think isn't important. - Further damaging PvP ^If you neglect the small things, they turn into big things. (Yes, you literally called the ability for anyone to kick within a clan chat Minor.) 4) I remember the effort being put in, but using any *LOGICAL* system to measure server progress and you find we're <backwards. 5) You did not give me a way or method to fix any system, most systems can be fixed by pulling the plug on them altogether. It's not rocket science. 6) I don't want anything changed. I've had my voice heard and shouted out for a long time, I don't care if they get added anymore. 7) You've constantly run-around my topic and gone off-track. You do not focus these points 1) The problems that I FIRSTLY mentioned of in my ORIGINAL post are still present within OSS and Will contiune to be for more time than OSS has left. 2) I do not care about How much effort is put in; or if you disagree with my thoughts. Facts Are Facts, server is dying FOR A REASON. If everything you say was true about progress, then we wouldn't be in this boat. As for patience? that requires time. More time than the rest of the playerbase will have to give for a dying server. Soon it will be all eco holders and loyal staff members. Mark my words. Things that need to be fixed require more time than OSS has left. If you refuse to ass-kiss and not see that, then you'll be at edgeville saying how good the server is when there's about 40 players online.

    First off, Impact, I acknowledge that the Dev was only able to fix the major bugs because he does not have the time for the rest. The server doesn't have a surplus of staff, I don't blame that, but it doesn't make the problem go away. I don't see why you don't understand it doesn't matter how much effort you put into something if the end result is not up to par. The effort that is being poured into this server may be "alot" but it's not enough to keep the playerbase steady and/or encourage new people. It's going BACKWARDS no matter how much you want to praise staff. You're patting the Captain of the Titanic on his back as the ship goes down, doesn't excuse the ship going down. I don't blame you for trying to find good in the bad, but you're overlooking WHY I made this post. I'm tired of people patting on the back when nothing in the end has ever been done about the problems that have caused OSS to fall so low. You make it out like progression is occurring; but it's not if your playerbase is still dying! There are many other bugs that are reported and daily complained with about players that have forever gone unresolved. The bugs fixed recently were only fixed because they were caused by the prior update, not because of long-lasting outcry. You can still kick generals in clan chats from chatbox. Listen, I have no problems with Simplemind / Airo, but when they inherited the job of Developer and Server Owner they Inherited ALL THE PROBLEMS THAT FOLLOW. Their fault or not, the problem remains and these are the people supposed to fix it. They haven't been here long enough to fix it, so I blame prior owners and developers more than them. - Time is an issue, the server is dying and the problems are too deep rooted into OSS to be fixed now. As for your final Edit piece, I've been speaking on this forum page ever since i played. My main account is Sosoild2k and I spent so much time on the forums making suggestions but nothing got implemented. You even agreed with my suggestions! On the "player has died with 0 risk" thread. You alone was the only reply; but you defended the mechanic system Incorrectly and never replied for some reason after I made a correction on your behalf. Makes me feel like you're just to make the server seem good.

    I'm sorry One Said, I've seen the playerbase fall from less damaging things than whats taken place recently. The recent events will be the final blow and nail in the coffin. It's evident all across OSS and alot of my friends have now quit as a result, a domino effect is occurring and i'm quitting to go back to other servers and OSRS. Soon the only people left on OSS will be a handful of loyal Staff members and eco holders. That's how many servers die. They are flawed and that's why I don't agree with them. Many mechanics flawed in countless ways that prevent smooth gameplay to the average/new player. I'm tired of arguing what is not valid anymore. Check out my other posts on why each Pk-restrictive system is flawed, inappropriately maintained and could be made smoother and better. It's no secret that this server got Rag-happy and made too many systems to prevent it. They drove away alot of people as a result.

    My list was twice as long three weeks ago. My list was even longer 6 months ago. I've been on this forum saying my piece for a long time now. If you revive this server, which, will have to be done now, accept the flaws above and do not at any point carry them over.

    I posted many times in the past weeks, even on other accounts. Ideas and recommendations seldom acted on. I'm tired now. So this now a reflection; not a recommendation. you know Airo; the problems I mentioned above still exist and will continue to stay with OSS until it dies, with you, allegedly as the server owner, rather fitting that you claim such problems to have no validity anymore. Perhaps you accepted that the fatal flaws carried by this server, ARE now this server. They can't be changed, if there's no valid reason to do so anymore. - And that's why, I won't come back.

  11. I tested all of these before posting to tell which had been fixed and not. Couldn't tell much difference. Had another guy say the same. Could be subject to few people, we don't know.

    Check out my post on the main update forum. You'll see just how much they didn't do, god forbid if they made anything worse. I'm afraid this server is going to die very soon. No one has the motivation to run it, or update it *properly*

This was for PvP alone, i bet there's more elsewhere. This server is dying because of poor attention and blatant neglect. You can get hard over what's been done in this update; but it's not all they should of done.

    There is alot of time inbetween updates. You are telling people to live with problems you created from thin air for a unacceptable amount of time. If you do not have anything to say other than "Yes! we will update the server tommorow to fix all these issues that are causing so many people to be outraged!" then don't reply at all.

    Currently Staff are too busy trying to make sure the server doesnt fall apart right now. They won't be focusing on rewarding the loyal while their server is about to collapse. Which if you ask me, is another mistake they're making.

    You represent the OSS dev team. I don't care for how long you personally have been within the team; you represent everything before and after OSS has made. There is no excuse for poor server maintenance and it will never begin with an excuse as feeble as "i'm new to this." My beliefs aren't personal views they're factual points. You have the devils own task of attempting to fix a good deal of broken PvP related warfare on this server. Even though I, and Others will push developers to do this, in reality the problems are so thick they will only be remedied in a future OSS revival. Try your best but do it fast too. Player base drops by the minute and we're reaching the point where the only players now are loyal members of OSS and not new people. This is typically the final nail in a coffin for a private server, unless, things change to make everything more accessible for Everyone.

    You know they chose to release this over raids because they milked raid items from store for irl cash right? There's no positive in something negative. Every aspect of Inferno on this server will become dead content very quickly. It's a sad waste of dev time that could be better put into fixing PvP mechanics if you ask me dan.
